I looked it up, and discovered there's actually an eighth component (that I had not heard of) as well.

I've hertzed of the terahertz, but all the references I've seen to the EM spectrum just list the 7. The boundaries are somewhat arbitrary. I've seen terahertz considered as a special case of microwave.
