I and I, bye and bye

I've noticed a trend in people breaking the rule that "I" comes last when using multiple subjects. "I and Uma built a tower, which fell over because of our poor grammar."

    Perhaps the people are Objectivists, and they are intending to stress the ultimate importance of the individual by placing themselves before others.
