Most recursive island ever

Todd explains Manitoulin Island.

  1. I once saw a tiny island in a pond formed in the crater of an active volcano on an island in the middle of a lake on a very large island.

    They call it Taal.

  2. I see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taal_Lake

    Satellite shot.

    So that's:
    1) island - Luzon (one of the main islands of the Philippines)
    2) lake - Taal Lake
    3) island - Volcano Island
    4) lake - Crater Lake
    5) island - Vulcan Point

Vulcan Point appears to have no lakes.

    Manitoulin goes:
    1) continent - North America
    2) lake - Lake Huron
    3) island - Manitoulin Island
    4) lake - Mindemoya Lake
    5) island - Treasure Island
    6) lake - some unnamed ponds

Taal is cool, but Manitoulin is one level ahead.
